If you hold a DVA Gold or White Card, we can help
DVA Community Nursing is available to eligible veterans, war widows and widowers who have a clinical need assessed by their doctor. In most cases there is no cost to you, and no waiting list to join.
Your GP or hospital completes a DVA referral, we assess your needs at home, and care begins. We manage the paperwork and reporting with DVA directly, so you do not have to.

Women who served are veterans in their own right, and are often the last to ask for help. If you served, or you are the widow or widower of someone who did, you may be eligible for nursing care at home.

Ask your GP or hospital discharge team for a DVA community nursing referral and name Compassionate Lively Care.

Home assessment
One of our nurses visits, assesses your needs and writes a care plan with you.

Care begins
Visits start at agreed times, with the same nurses wherever possible.
